The bridge was built and donated by members of the Central Newspaper Reporters Club in Hoa Binh working at Lao Dong Newspaper, who called for and connected with Tien Phong Plastic Joint Stock Company.
Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the bridge as a gift to teachers, students and people of the highland commune.
Moc village, Nanh Nghe commune is the highest commune in Hoa Binh province. The commune is located nearly 100km from the center of Da Bac district, Moc village is surrounded by Kham stream. In 2017, Moc village bridge was built by the locality, inaugurated for only 2 months, then swept away by a flood.
Since then, local people have gone to work and nearly 150 students have had to wade across Kham stream every day, which is freezing cold in winter and dangerous to their lives in rainy and flood season.

Understanding that situation, a reporter from Lao Dong newspaper in Hoa Binh wrote an article reflecting and calling for support. Through the article, Tien Phong Plastic Joint Stock Company conducted a survey and made a construction plan to give the people of Moc village a sturdy bridge worth more than 1.7 billion VND.
At the bridge inauguration ceremony, Mr. Tran Ngoc Bao - Deputy General Director of Tien Phong Youth Plastic Joint Stock Company shared: Suoi Kham bridge is the 115th "Bridge of Love" that the company's staff has given to localities, and this is the second bridge in Hoa Binh province.

Ban Moc Bridge with a cost of over 1.7 billion VND, 30m long, 3.5m wide, 7-ton load capacity, and 70m of concrete road at both ends has become a solid traffic road, bringing extremely important changes to the lives of people in the area. The bridge is also a gift for teachers and 149 students on their journey to the future.
