Here, the speaker briefly presented the current situation of domestic violence, its causes, and preventive measures. According to statistics, on average, 5 domestic violence cases occur every day nationwide. The speaker analyzed the groups of domestic violence that often occur, such as: physical violence, mental violence, sexual violence; in which, physical violence and mental violence account for a large proportion.
Worryingly, school violence is on the rise. Many students have been seriously injured and hospitalized, their lives are in danger, and even they have died from school violence.
Along with that, the reality of students being sexually abused, inappropriate forms of criticism and punishment of students are happening in many schools. The consequences of sexual abuse cases have a great impact on the physical and mental health of students, causing their studies to decline, and many students even have to drop out of school.
According to the speaker, the main cause of BLHD is due to the lack of timely and adequate education, life skills, gender, and in-depth understanding of BLHD for students. With the rapid development of social networks, a lot of unhealthy information has negatively impacted the lifestyle of young people.
At the same time, the attention and coordination of relevant units in preventing and combating domestic violence are still limited. Students study a lot of cultural subjects but are not equipped with life skills, communication and behavior skills, so when small collisions and disagreements occur, conflicts can easily erupt.

Regarding verbal violence, the speaker advised students to behave civilly and appropriately in relationships, not to create unnecessary conflicts and disagreements; and to use loving language to influence and persuade.
To effectively prevent and combat bullying, according to speaker Mai Xuan Phuong, schools and families play an important role. Students need to proactively access positive information, especially life skills, communication, and behavior. Always know how to love, share, and sympathize; build pure, healthy friendships; do not follow suit; do not hurt friends. When being bullied, promptly report to the homeroom teacher, school, and parents for solutions.

In particular, it is necessary to build "happy schools" (happy teachers, happy students, happy parents). To do that, schools need to fully equip themselves with skills to prevent and combat domestic violence, life skills, sex education, and at the same time include them in the main curriculum; create healthy and positive playgrounds and activities.
Parents often befriend their children; equip them with knowledge and skills to raise their children, without relying on teachers or schools. Closely coordinate with schools to grasp students' situations (thoughts, wishes, complicated problems students encounter) to share, advise and solve together.
