The program responding to Digital Transformation Day 2024 in Lam Dong province was broadcast live to 154 district, city and commune-level bridges with nearly 3,500 delegates attending.
Building a smart Civil Service model " Digital Government - Serving the People"
Based on the Coordination Plan between the Department of Information and Communications (MIC) and Postal and Telecommunications enterprises in the province on building a smart Mass Mobilization model "Digital Government - Serving the people" in 03 communes of Da Ron, Tu Tra, Lac Xuan, Don Duong district . With the motto of being close to the people, creating conditions for people to access digital transformation activities, from August 20, 2024 to October 10, 2024, the Department of Information and Communications, together with Postal and Telecommunications Enterprises; Community Digital Technology Team, Youth Union members and People's Committees of Da Ron, Tu Tra, Lac Xuan communes, simultaneously launched specific activities:
- Popularize and guide people in using cashless payment applications. Equip nearly 500 Mica boards for QR codes for businesses, grocery stores and small traders in markets...
- Install 24 surveillance cameras at locations with high traffic volume and places where incidents related to security - politics and social order and safety frequently occur in Da Ron and Tu Tra communes.
- Internet coverage, wifi broadcasting at 35 village cultural houses in 3 communes to serve local people to access entertainment forms, look up information, events on politics, economy, culture, society of the country and locality.
- Distribute 30,000 leaflets to promote: Warning against online scams, preventing drowning for children, preventing plastic waste for a green - clean - beautiful environment, and traffic safety.
The Department of Information and Communications and Post and Telecommunications enterprises have handed over the "Digital Transformation - Serving the People" model to 3 communes. With the initial results of the "Digital Government - Serving the People" model deployed in 3 communes of Don Duong district, it is hoped that these will be good models and good cores of digital transformation to be widely deployed throughout the province.
Popularize and communicate the identity of Digital Transformation Day 2024
Organized the popularization and communication of the Digital Transformation Day 2024 identity through displaying the identity on electronic boards, public screens under the management, websites , mobile applications of departments, branches, localities and on electronic newspapers of the sector, field, and local management. Encouraged cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of agencies and localities to respond on cyberspace by changing their avatars with the National Digital Transformation Day avatar frame. In the whole province, more than 1,100 vertical banners were hung on the streets; more than 100 posters, 110 panels, 750 standees, 120 banners; propaganda on 250 LED screens, 25,000 leaflets, with more than 220 news articles, reports, all content was carried out in the form of socialization and deployed to the commune level.
Propaganda of 2G shutdown roadmap, giving away 4G phones
Disseminate and popularize the roadmap for stopping 2G mobile technology on electronic information portals/pages, on local information systems in appropriate forms so that cadres, civil servants, employees and people can easily access, exploit and use. Local press and radio agencies increase news and articles. Telecommunications enterprises promote the implementation of programs and policies to support users of their services to convert 2G Only phones to higher-tech phones, issue support packages for subscribers to convert. Special attention is paid to people from poor households, near-poor households, households living in remote areas, and ethnic minority areas. During this period, telecommunications enterprises supported the conversion and gave 4G phones to nearly 16,000 2G Only subscribers, and gave more than 350,000 scratch cards to customers who converted.

Organized training on digital transformation and digital skills in Lam Dong province in 2024 for cadres, civil servants and leaders with more than 40 trainees representing leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors and People's Committees of districts and cities and 2 classes for cadres, civil servants and officials directly advising on digital transformation with nearly 100 trainees. From September 15, 2024 to October 15, 2024, community digital technology teams simultaneously launched the campaign "Going to every alley, knocking on every door, guiding each person to use services and applications to develop the digital economy". Currently, Lam Dong province has 1,367 community digital technology teams at the village/residential group level with 9,088 participating members, reaching a rate of 100% of villages/residential groups having community digital technology teams.

Enterprises providing public digital signature certification services have given away personal digital signatures (free for 12 months) to people when performing administrative procedures online, with nearly 800 digital signatures given away.
Organize a contest to raise people's awareness of digital transformation
In October 2024, the Department of Information and Communications coordinated with the Provincial Civil Servants' Union to organize an online contest "Learning about the Resolution of the 10th Provincial Trade Union Congress and digital transformation". The contest was organized on the internet environment, with the content: Learning about the Resolution of the 10th Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union Congress and some contents stipulated in the documents of the Party and State on the meaning and importance in building digital government, digital economy, digital society .
