Comprehensive coordination benefits union members

BIDV and the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation will cooperate comprehensively in all aspects, aiming to bring legal and legitimate benefits to trade unions at all levels and union members.

On the afternoon of June 20, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) Ha Tinh Branch, BIDV Nam Ha Tinh Branch and the Provincial Labor Federation (LDLĐ) held a signing ceremony of the coordination regulations.

BIDV and the Provincial Federation of Labor will cooperate comprehensively in all aspects on the basis of promoting the strengths of each party in the field of operation, towards the common goal of bringing legal and legitimate benefits to trade unions at all levels and union members.

Specifically, the two sides will coordinate in collecting and transferring union fees; coordinate in exploiting and implementing BIDV's banking services to unions at all levels and union members; coordinate in providing preferential products and services for union members according to the needs and conditions of each side; coordinate in organizing and implementing social activities and other activities according to the needs and conditions of each side...

Mr. Nguyen Van Danh - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor: The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and BIDV have had a supportive and cooperative relationship over the past time. We hope that after the signing ceremony, the two sides will effectively and substantially implement the coordination program so that trade unions at all levels and many union members can access preferential services of BIDV.

Accordingly, the parties coordinate to appoint a focal point in the implementation of the regulations. The focal point of each party is responsible for advising the leaders of the coordinating unit to inspect and guide the implementation of the regulations; summarize the results of the implementation of the coordination tasks, prepare a summary report, evaluate the implementation of the agreement and propose and recommend appropriate amendments and supplements (if any).

The Provincial Federation of Labor and BIDV are responsible for coordinating in the implementation to ensure timely collection, transfer, and synthesis of union fund revenue; effective use of BIDV's banking services; ensuring capital sources for union loans; and promoting social activities between the parties.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thinh - Director of BIDV Ha Tinh Branch: Recently, BIDV has implemented preferential credit packages for union members and trade unions in the health sector to show gratitude for the contributions of doctors and medical staff in the fight against COVID-19. BIDV is currently researching and implementing preferential loan packages for union members and trade unions in the education sector. BIDV is committed to always accompanying the Ha Tinh Labor Federation to effectively and substantially implement the signed program as well as to accompany in social security work and other activities.
