Inter-sectoral coordination improves the effectiveness of crime prevention and control

Deputy Director of the Provincial People's Procuracy Huynh Ngoc Thanh; Colonel Vo Duy Tuan, Deputy Director, Head of the Provincial Police Investigation Agency; Deputy Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court Vo Nguyen Tung; Deputy Head of the Provincial Forest Protection Department Nguyen Van Toan co-chaired the conference.

At the conference, representatives of the provincial police, the provincial People's Procuracy and the provincial People's Court signed a coordination regulation in managing and resolving temporarily suspended criminal cases. With 3 chapters and 21 articles, this regulation sets out the principles of close coordination, enhancing the responsibility of relevant parties to minimize the situation of prolonged temporary suspension, improving the effectiveness of resolving these types of cases so as not to affect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens.

Representatives of the provincial police, the provincial People's Procuracy and the provincial Forest Protection Department also signed a coordination regulation in the work of receiving and handling denunciations and reports of crimes, recommending prosecution; investigating criminal cases and resolving suspended cases and incidents related to forest destruction crimes. This regulation consists of 4 chapters and 12 articles, aiming to promptly detect and strictly handle violations of the law in the field of forest protection.

According to industry leaders, the signing of these two regulations not only creates an important legal corridor for coordination but also contributes to removing practical obstacles, speeding up the resolution of cases, thereby improving the quality of litigation activities and ensuring the strictness of the law.
