DNO - The Prime Minister has just issued Decision No. 14/QD-BCĐNQ136 promulgating the regulations on organization, operation, and list of members of the Steering Committee for implementing Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 dated June 26, 2024 of the National Assembly on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city.
Accordingly, the Head of the Steering Committee is Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The Standing Deputy Head is Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung. Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Quang is the Deputy Head of the Committee.
Members of the Steering Committee include leaders of ministries, departments, branches, Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of Da Nang City People's Council Ngo Xuan Thang.
The Steering Committee performs the tasks of researching, directing, and coordinating the resolution of important, inter-sectoral tasks in the process of organizing the implementation of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15.
The Steering Committee operates according to the principle of democratic centralism, promoting the responsibility of the leader and promoting the collective intelligence of the members; ensuring the requirements of close coordination and unity in direction, management and information exchange to resolve work according to the functions, tasks and powers of the member agencies as prescribed by law.
Members of the Steering Committee promote personal responsibility, take initiative in performing assigned tasks and powers; handle work in accordance with assigned authority and responsibility, in accordance with the order and procedures prescribed by law and regulations of this regulation.
Steering Committee members are responsible for fully participating in the activities of the Steering Committee; performing and being responsible to the Head of the Steering Committee for assigned tasks. The opinions of Steering Committee members are the official opinions of the agency or organization where they work.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment is the standing agency of the Steering Committee, responsible for assisting the Steering Committee in organizing and implementing the tasks and powers of the Steering Committee and performing other tasks assigned by the Head of the Steering Committee and Deputy Head of the Steering Committee.
