On the afternoon of June 28, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda Department held a conference to announce the Secretariat's decision on personnel work.

On behalf of the Secretariat, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, presented the Secretariat's decision appointing Ms. Dinh Thi Mai, Head of the Propaganda Department, to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, presented the decision and flowers to Ms. Dinh Thi Mai.

Speaking at the assignment, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that Ms. Dinh Thi Mai is a well-trained cadre with a lot of experience in professional work.

Ms. Mai has deep professional knowledge and understanding of the country's political, economic and social situation, has a solid grasp of theory and practical experience, has many years of participation in local mass organizations and has participated in consulting and directing propaganda work...

"In any position, Ms. Dinh Thi Mai has always affirmed her strong political will, pure ethics, high sense of discipline, good professional capacity, and ability to build internal solidarity and unity," said Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia.

The Head of the Central Propaganda Department expressed her belief that in her new position, Ms. Dinh Thi Mai and the leadership of the Central Propaganda Department will unite, continue to lead, direct, and fulfill to the highest level the tasks assigned by the Party and the People.

Mr. Nghia hopes that Ms. Dinh Thi Mai will continue to promote all her efforts and intelligence, continue to learn, research, constantly innovate, and strive to be worthy of the trust of the Party, the Secretariat and the leadership of the Central Propaganda Department.

In her acceptance speech, the new Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Dinh Thi Mai, expressed her deep gratitude to the Secretariat, leaders of the Central Organization Department, and leaders of the Central Propaganda Department for entrusting her with new tasks and responsibilities.

Ms. Mai affirmed that she will seriously accept all instructions; constantly cultivate and practice qualities, ethics, and lifestyle; and promote the glorious tradition of the Party's Propaganda Department.

At the same time, dare to think, dare to do, unite, innovate, and be creative for the common good; strive to carry out and complete assigned tasks well; contribute to enhancing the image, position, and prestige of the Central Propaganda Department, the Party's propaganda sector.

Ms. Dinh Thi Mai was born in 1971, from Ninh Binh.

Professional qualification: PhD in Psychology. Political theory qualification: Advanced.

During her career, Ms. Dinh Thi Mai worked for many years at Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Union, as an expert in the Youth Union Building Department; Organization - Inspection Department; Ideology - Culture Department of Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Union.

From January 2000 - June 2002: Deputy Head of Ideology - Culture Department, Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Union.

From 2002 to August 2019: Specialist/Chief Specialist of Propaganda Department, Central Propaganda Department; Deputy Director/Deputy Director in charge of Propaganda Department, Central Propaganda Department.

From August 2019 to June 2024: Head of Propaganda Department, Central Propaganda Department.
