The Deputy Secretary-General assessed that Vietnam is in the process of becoming a powerful country. The United Nations hopes that Vietnam will actively participate in these processes of the United Nations, in which it hopes that Vietnamese technology enterprises will not only participate and bring benefits to the socio-economic development process in the country but also participate in solving global issues, especially in developing countries, promoting South-South cooperation. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam is ready to play the role of host or co-organizer of international events to promote understanding and multilateral cooperation in the field of technology and artificial intelligence, including hosting the AI ​​Governance Policy Forum. The Prime Minister asked the United Nations to continue supporting Vietnam in building a legal framework and international standards on technology governance; promoting technology transfer; supporting Vietnam in finance, training human resources, and management science in the field of technology, especially AI.
