On the evening of September 14, the Mid-Autumn Festival "Lanterns light up dreams" took place in Dak Lak with the participation of more than 1,700 children of ethnic groups in the province. The event was organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers in coordination with the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee.

The Mid-Autumn Festival program was broadcast online and connected to 13 connecting points in the provinces and cities: Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Hai Phong, Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue, Da Nang, Lam Dong, Binh Duong, Binh Thuan, Ho Chi Minh City, Tien Giang, Can Tho.
The program aims to encourage and motivate children, create conditions to support and nurture their dreams.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh shared that currently all resources are being directed towards people affected by natural disasters in the North, especially children, so that they can have a full Mid-Autumn Festival and return to school as soon as the floods are over.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the Mid-Autumn Festival is closely linked to the fine cultural traditions of the Vietnamese people. This is an opportunity for adults to remind themselves to care more for children with love, responsibility and practical actions.
In particular, we need to pay attention to children in special circumstances, orphans, in remote areas, border areas, islands, affected by natural disasters, storms, floods. We need to prioritize resources and practical actions so that all children can have a safe, healthy life, study, be creative and play in the love of their families, communities and the whole society.
"The Party and State always adhere to the viewpoint of giving all the best to children, the future buds of the country," the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.

The Deputy Prime Minister called on authorities at all levels, parents, teachers, youth union members, social workers and businesses to continue to take practical actions to care for and look after all children, regardless of age, grade, mountainous or plain, border or remote islands, so that they can play, study and develop comprehensively.
The Deputy Prime Minister hopes that every child will have a warm Mid-Autumn Festival with their loved ones, follow Uncle Ho's five teachings, be filial to grandparents and parents, respect teachers, be polite to adults, unite, share and help children in difficult circumstances.
He paid special attention to taking care of children who suffered severe consequences of storms and floods, so that they could stay in school and class; study hard and cultivate virtue and talent to later become the masters of the country.

"In the journey of the children, there is always love, sharing and support from all levels of government, ministries, departments, agencies, organizations and individuals in the community and society. The children's willpower and aspirations are always cared for, encouraged and cheered by kind hearts and hands, accompanying them, adding faith and strength to support and light up their dreams," the Deputy Prime Minister shared.
At the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Organizing Committee presented 200 gifts to disadvantaged children in Dak Lak province, of which 100 children received gifts worth 1.8 million VND, and 100 children received gifts worth 2.3 million VND.
In addition, the Provincial Youth Union and units of Dak Lak province presented thousands of gifts to children participating in the program.
