Tuan Dao Primary and Secondary School has 2 campuses, 27 classes, 861 students, and 53 staff members, teachers, and employees. Mr. Le Quang Hoa, the school principal, stated that despite facing many difficulties, including inadequate facilities and a large percentage of students not living with their parents, the school, through the efforts of the students and the teaching staff, has always strived and worked tirelessly to successfully complete the 2023-2024 school year with excellent results: 100% student enrollment; 92% of students with good or excellent conduct ratings; 98% of students progressing to the next grade, graduating, or moving to the next level; 5 students winning provincial-level awards; and 29 students winning district-level awards. These results were achieved because the school has implemented effective and decisive solutions to innovate and improve the quality of education . The school maintains its high-quality education in key areas, while the quality of its general education continues to improve.
Attending the opening ceremony at Tuan Dao Primary and Secondary School, on behalf of the Government, Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long commended the achievements of the education sector, teachers, staff, and students during the past school year.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the 2024-2025 school year is of great importance, as it marks the first year that the entire education sector nationwide implements Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW of the Politburo , continuing the implementation of Resolution No. 8 of the 11th Central Committee on fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long expressed his hope that leaders at all levels and teachers will continue to effectively implement the educational principle of learning combined with practice, schools connected with families and society, and persistently pursue the goal of improving the quality of education. He urged effective implementation of the 2018 general education program, development of digital education, smart education, personalized education, and creative education, adapting to the development of artificial intelligence, while equipping students with essential skills to adapt to effective learning and work.
The Deputy Prime Minister urged the students to strive to overcome difficulties and challenges; to continuously study diligently, acquire knowledge, proactively and actively train themselves, and nurture their ambition, dreams, and aspirations to become good citizens who are useful to society, their homeland, and the country.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Education and Training, Party committees at all levels, the government, mass organizations, parents, and all people in the province to continue to pay attention to and invest in education, giving due attention to the development of education in the most remote, disadvantaged, and difficult areas of the province to ensure the effective implementation of social equity in education, including Tuan Dao Primary and Secondary School.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and the delegation presented 5 computer sets to Tuan Dao Primary and Secondary School; donated 20 bicycles to underprivileged students; and awarded 20 scholarships to students.
The People's Committee of Hoa Binh province also awarded 20 scholarships from the Provincial Children's Protection Fund and 20 sets of school supplies worth 495,000 VND/set. Leaders of the Provincial Department of Education and Training presented 20 scholarships to underprivileged students who have overcome difficulties.
