Tuan Dao Primary and Secondary School has 2 campuses, 27 classes, 861 students with 53 staff, teachers and employees. Mr. Le Quang Hoa, Principal of the school, said that although the school still faces many difficulties, the physical facilities are still lacking, the number of students not living with their parents accounts for a very large proportion, but with the efforts of the students and the team of teachers, the school has always been united, making constant efforts to complete the tasks of the 2023-2024 school year with good results: The rate of mobilizing students to attend class reached 100%; the rate of students with good and fair conduct reached 92%; the rate of students promoted to the next grade, graduated, and transferred to another level reached 98%; 5 students were excellent at the provincial level; 29 students were excellent at the district level. These results were achieved because the school has drastically and effectively implemented innovative solutions to improve the quality of education; The school's key educational quality is maintained, and the general quality continues to improve.
Attending the opening ceremony at Tuan Dao Primary and Secondary School, on behalf of the Government and Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long commended the achievements of the education sector, teachers, staff and students in the past school year.
The Deputy Prime Minister stated that the new school year 2024-2025 is of great significance, being the first school year in which the education sector nationwide implements Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW of the Politburo, continuing to implement the Resolution of the 8th Central Conference, Session XI, on fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long hopes that leaders at all levels and teachers will continue to implement the educational principle: learning goes hand in hand with practice, schools are linked to families and society, and persistently pursue the goal of improving the quality of education. Effectively implement the 2018 general education program, develop digital education, smart education, personal education, creative education, adapt to the development of artificial intelligence, and equip students with essential skills to adapt to learning and working effectively.
The Deputy Prime Minister advised students to strive to overcome difficulties and challenges; to constantly study hard, acquire knowledge, be proactive, actively practice, nurture the will to rise up, ambitions, dreams, and aspirations to become good citizens, useful to society, to the homeland and the country.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Education and Training, Party committees at all levels, authorities, mass organizations, parents and all people in the province to continue to pay attention and invest in education, and to pay appropriate attention and investment to the development of education in remote, isolated and most disadvantaged areas of the province to ensure good implementation of social equity in education, including Tuan Dao Primary and Secondary School.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and the delegation presented 5 sets of computers to Tuan Dao Primary and Secondary School; 20 bicycles to poor students who have overcome difficulties; and 20 scholarships to students.
The People's Committee of Hoa Binh province also awarded 20 scholarships from the Provincial Children's Fund and 20 sets of school supplies worth VND495,000/set. The leaders of the provincial Department of Education and Training awarded 20 scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties.
