Deputy Director of Ca Mau Department of Education and Training was proposed to be disciplined for lack of responsibility

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province directed the handling of errors and organized a review of the responsibility of Mr. Ta Thanh Vu, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, for his lack of responsibility in his work.

On December 10, according to Thanh Nien reporter's source, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province has just issued an official dispatch directing the Director of the Department of Education and Training of this province to handle the errors and organize a review of the responsibility of Mr. Ta Thanh Vu, Deputy Director of the Department, for lacking a sense of responsibility in his work.

Previously, Mr. Ta Thanh Vu was accused of being irresponsible in performing his official duties. According to the conclusion of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the content of the accusation was correct. Mr. Vu was determined to have not fully performed his responsibilities and obligations in the process of handling official duties. Specifically , verifying the qualifications of an individual as requested by the Inspection Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee.

Previously, in April 2022, the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee requested the Ca Mau Department of Education and Training to verify the legality of the secondary school diploma of Mr. D.MT, an official under the management of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee.

According to the report of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau, the secondary school exam held in January 1985 at the Tac Van examination council was confirmed to have taken place. However, the original records of the examination council no longer exist and the comparison of the sample form, signature, and seal on the graduation certificate only showed a match in form.

The People's Committee of Ca Mau province believes that the above response is inappropriate because there are no original documents to accurately verify the legality of the diploma. This leads to insufficient basis to confirm Mr. D.MT's diploma.

Despite having responded in writing to Bac Lieu, Mr. Ta Thanh Vu later signed an official dispatch requesting re-verification of his qualifications. This action was considered slow and irresponsible in performing public duties.

Therefore, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province requested the Director of the Department of Education and Training to review Mr. Ta Thanh Vu; at the same time, review and handle erroneous documents according to authority and regulations.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province also assigned the Department of Home Affairs to advise on reviewing Mr. Ta Thanh Vu, ensuring strict implementation of regulations on civil servant responsibilities in performing duties.
