Deputy Director of Can Tho City Police Department becomes Director of Soc Trang Province Police Department

On January 21, at Soc Trang Provincial Police, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Major General Huynh Van Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel - Ministry of Public Security, announced the decision on the transfer and appointment of Colonel Tran Van Duong (born in 1973; hometown Binh Thuy district, Can Tho city), Deputy Director of Can Tho City Police, to take up the job and hold the position of Director of Soc Trang Provincial Police.

Presenting the decision to the new Director of Soc Trang Provincial Police, Deputy Minister of Public Security Dang Hong Duc affirmed that this is the trust and recognition of the ministry's leaders for the efforts and dedication in the career of protecting national security and social order and safety of Colonel Tran Van Duong.

“After taking on the new assignment, with the new responsibility, comrade Tran Van Duong needs to continue to promote his sense of responsibility, qualities, capacity, work experience, unite with the Party Committee, leaders of Soc Trang Provincial Police to promote collective intelligence, advise the Party Committee and local authorities on ensuring security and order, strive to excellently complete the political tasks assigned by the Central Party Committee of Public Security, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Soc Trang province; at the same time, create a stable environment of security and order for the socio-economic development of the locality…” – Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc emphasized.
