At the same time, the President of the University of Health Sciences assigned Dr. Nguyen Quoc Binh - Deputy Director of Cho Ray Hospital to be the Head of the Department of Pharmacology - Clinical Pharmacy of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hai - Director of Gia Dinh People's Hospital as Deputy Head of Internal Medicine Department, Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Le Tran Quang Minh - Director of ENT Hospital is Deputy Head of ENT Department, Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Mai Phan Tuong Anh - Deputy Director of Gia Dinh People's Hospital as Deputy Head of Surgery Department, Faculty of Medicine.

Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Hai Quan said that there are 5 difficulties and challenges for the University of Health Sciences: thin human resources; slow integration of new science and technology into the training program; no practice hospital; need to train graduates who are both bright in medical ethics and good in medical skills; there is a gap in training in medicine and pharmacy between universities.

He suggested that the development strategy of the University of Health Sciences should focus on postgraduate training and close cooperation between the school and the hospital in training and scientific research.
