Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Trong Hai worked with Bat Xat district on implementing a number of projects in the area.

On the morning of April 17, Comrade Nguyen Trong Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with Bat Xat district on the implementation of projects serving the investment in the construction of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line. Attending the meeting were representatives of a number of departments and branches of the province and Bat Xat district.

According to Decision No. 1009/QD-UBND, dated April 4, 2025 on the investment policy of 4 projects serving the site clearance for the construction of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line, in Bat Xat district there are 2 projects: Site leveling and technical infrastructure project of Ban Qua area.

The two projects cover an area of 49 hectares, with a total investment of about 380 billion VND, of which the project to level the ground and provide technical infrastructure in the Kim Thanh - Ban Vuoc logistics area covers an area of 14 hectares, with a total investment of about 110 billion VND. The goal is to create a site for arranging and relocating residents of production facilities in the Dong Pho Moi Industrial Park to serve the site clearance for the construction of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway. The project is invested by the Lao Cai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board; implementation period is from 2025 - 2027.

Speaking at the meeting, representatives of relevant departments, branches, units and Bat Xat district informed about the project and clarified specific tasks to be performed in the coming time.
