The delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Duong Thi Thanh (95 years old), Mr. Nguyen Van Cuc, son of martyr Nguyen Choi, who is suffering from lung disease, both in Ward 2, Tan Nghia town; Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (90 years old), a 45% disabled soldier in Lang Gon 1 village, Tan Xuan commune. At the families visited, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai kindly asked about their health, expressed his joy at seeing Vietnamese Heroic Mother Duong Thi Thanh and disabled soldier Nguyen Van Hung, who are now old but still healthy, still clear-minded, living together with their children and grandchildren; at the same time, encouraged Mr. Nguyen Van Cuc to rest assured to receive treatment to overcome the disease.



On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, and families of martyrs who contributed to the entire people and army in the resistance war against the US to save the country until the day of complete victory and national reunification; requested the local Party Committee and government to pay more attention to the families of war invalids and martyrs.


On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to policy beneficiaries in Ham Tan. Mr. Nguyen Tan Le also sent small gifts from the district to those with meritorious services and relatives of martyrs.
