On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2024), on February 26, the provincial delegation led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh visited and congratulated medical facilities in the area.

The delegation visited and congratulated the leaders, medical staff, doctors and workers of Buon Don District Medical Center, Dak Lak Eye Hospital and Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital.

At the places visited, after listening to the units' reports on their activities in the past time as well as their directions and tasks in the coming time, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh sent best wishes and deep thanks to the collective leadership, medical staff, doctors, and workers of the units in particular and the entire health sector in general on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day, February 27; acknowledged the results that the units have achieved in recent years, especially in disease prevention and control, treatment, care and protection of people's health... which have made an important contribution to the province's completion of socio-economic development targets, ensuring national defense and security, and effectively controlling epidemics in the area.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh shared the difficulties and shortcomings of medical units in terms of lack of human resources, medical supplies, vaccination work, etc. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, the units in particular and the entire provincial health sector in general would continue to promote the glorious tradition of the sector, overcome all difficulties, maintain the spirit of solidarity, strive to study, improve professional qualifications, practice medical ethics to perform well the assigned tasks, worthy of being a doctor of the people; continue to further improve the quality of medical examination and treatment; raise vigilance, not to be passive or surprised in any situation, effectively control the epidemic and protect and take care of the health of the people in the area.
