Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha requested to shorten the time of stages in land auctions in Dong Nai.

(DN) - On March 28, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha worked with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and departments, branches and localities on the auction of land use rights in 2025 in the province.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center reported on the tasks that have been and are being carried out. In particular, the time limit for collecting opinions from relevant units has expired for compiling the handbook on land use rights auctions, but only 3/15 comments have been received. Regarding the consultation on the development of the working group's operating regulations, a report has been submitted to the Provincial People's Committee; at the same time, the province has been advised to perfect the land auction working group.

Regarding the land auction plan, for 17 basically qualified land plots, there is currently the Long Giao Industrial Park land plot that will be auctioned on April 24, in May it is expected that 2 land plots in Tan Hanh ward, Bien Hoa city will be auctioned; the remaining 14 land plots are in the process of determining the starting price and approving the land use rights auction plan.

For the 20 plots of land that need to complete procedures, there is still much work to be done. These include planning adjustments; land acquisition, compensation, support, resettlement; detailed planning; investment policy development… These procedures must be completed in June, and no later than July, to be eligible for auction in 2025.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha said that this year, the Provincial Party Committee has assigned a target of collecting 20 trillion VND from land use rights auctions. The Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to auction 37 land plots with a total amount according to the land price list of nearly 21 trillion VND. Completing the procedures to auction the land plots is an urgent task to have resources to invest in infrastructure projects, achieve the growth target of 10% and put the land into use soon.

The Provincial People's Committee leaders requested the establishment of a Rapid Response Team to promptly handle difficulties in the process of performing assigned tasks in the 2025 land use rights auction plan. The Provincial Land Fund Development Center urgently advised on the issuance of the Land Use Rights Auction Handbook, as a basis for relevant units and individuals to study, speed up the implementation progress, shorten the implementation time of all stages to put the land plots up for auction as soon as possible.

Regarding the investment policy, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Construction, and the Department of Industry and Trade are assigned to advise on the investment policy for auctioned land plots according to their functions and tasks, and the specific content is assigned to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for proposal. The policy is agreed to assign the Department of Construction to establish a new detailed construction plan at a scale of 1/500 for the 77-hectare land plot in Long Duc commune, Long Thanh district. The Department of Agriculture and Environment directs the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Engineering to urgently deploy tasks to carry out specific land valuation work according to regulations.
