At the conference, representatives of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province informed voters about the expected content and program of the 9th Session and the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of the province in recent times.

Accordingly, the Ninth Session will be held in two phases, the first phase from May 5 to 28; the second phase from June 11 to 28. At the session, the National Assembly is expected to consider and decide on amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; consider and pass 30 laws, 7 resolutions and give opinions on 6 draft laws. The National Assembly will also consider and pass other draft laws and resolutions to serve the organization and arrangement of the political system; at the same time, consider and decide on socio-economic issues, state budget, supervision and other important issues.

Regarding the results of handling and responding to petitions sent by voters of Quang Ninh province to the National Assembly at the 8th Session, the National Assembly Delegation of the province has received documents from central ministries and branches responding to 38/38 petitions of voters.

At the meeting with voters, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh informed voters about the country's socio-economic situation; especially the revolutionary policies decided by the Central Executive Committee at the recent 11th Conference. Accordingly, the whole country is moving and implementing with the highest determination to successfully streamline the apparatus of the political system, rearrange administrative units and organize 2-level local governments; at the same time, ensuring uninterrupted service to people and businesses, determined to strive for economic growth of 8% or more in 2025 to create momentum for double-digit growth in the following years.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also informed voters about the direction of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

From the local bridge, voters highly appreciated the activities of the National Assembly and the provincial National Assembly Delegation in the past time. Voters also recommended and proposed a number of contents on: building a specific mechanism to promote the potential and advantages in Mong Cai; having a plan to ensure stable operations, especially the settlement of administrative procedures for people after the implementation of the arrangement and merger of localities; proposing effective solutions to popularize digital transformation in remote, isolated, border and island areas, strengthening supervision to evaluate the effectiveness of practical implementation; supporting funding for construction and repair of infrastructure serving commune-level activities after the merger, decentralizing spending tasks and spending levels for communes according to new tasks; strengthening management and strictly handling the production and trading of counterfeit and poor-quality goods, etc.

On behalf of the Quang Ninh Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group Ngo Hoang Ngan affirmed that the opinions and recommendations of voters are very practical, reflecting practical issues raised at the grassroots level. The Provincial National Assembly Delegation will synthesize and fully reflect them to the National Assembly, the Government, and relevant central and provincial agencies for consideration and resolution.
