Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Phuong (88 years old, in Yen Lam 1 area, Duc Chinh ward, Dong Trieu city).

Visiting and presenting gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Hue (102 years old, living in Vinh Tuy 2 area, Mao Khe ward) and Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Phuong (88 years old, living in Yen Lam 1 area, Duc Chinh ward, Dong Trieu city), Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, sent greetings, encouragement and expressed deep gratitude for the silent but great sacrifices of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh wished the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers good health and encouraged their children and grandchildren to uphold the revolutionary tradition of their families to actively compete in studying, working, and producing, contributing to the development of their homeland. At the same time, she expressed her hope that the Party Committee, government, and people of Quang Ninh province in general and Dong Trieu city in particular would continue to pay attention to better implementing the Party and State's policies and guidelines for war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution. Thereby, it would partly ease the pain, loss, and sacrifice of blood and bones for the cause of fighting to protect and build the Fatherland of heroes, martyrs, and relatives of those with meritorious services.

Visiting Mao Khe Coal Company (TKV), Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh expressed her joy at seeing the competitive spirit of production and labor on the first day of the new year at the Company. At the same time, she highly appreciated the results the Company achieved in production and business, and care for workers.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested the Company to continue to lead and direct the implementation of the assigned production and business plan targets for 2025. In particular, regularly research and innovate technology, effectively invest in mining equipment; promote automation, gradually digitize production and business activities, creating a foundation for the coal industry to develop sustainably. Along with that, well implement social security work, take care of health, housing, and transportation for workers; pay attention to the lives of workers during the Lunar New Year, especially those in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh presented gifts to encourage 30 outstanding workers of Mao Khe Coal Company.
