At the announcement ceremony, delegates listened to Vice Chairman of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Dai Thang announce the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on retirement with benefits and policies according to Decree No. 178/ND-CP for Mr. Dang Thuan Phong, XV National Assembly Delegate, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Social Affairs.

On behalf of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh expressed her deep gratitude to Comrade Dang Thuan Phong for his tireless contributions to the activities of the National Assembly as well as to the development of the country over the past 40 years. At the same time, affirming the implementation of the Party and State's policies and guidelines and his personal wishes, Comrade Dang Thuan Phong's request to retire under Decree 178/ND-CP is not simply a personal decision but also demonstrates a sense of responsibility, exemplary behavior, silent sacrifice but full of courage, demonstrating the character of a cadre who puts the common interest above personal interests.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly acknowledged and appreciated the exemplary spirit, the willingness to sacrifice personal interests for the common goal of streamlining the organization, innovating, and arranging the staff in accordance with the spirit of the Party and the State of comrade Dang Thuan Phong.
