Voters expressed their agreement and high support for the policy of merging provinces, not organizing district level, merging commune-level administrative units to organize 2-level local government. Including the plan to merge Quang Nam province with Da Nang city to maximize resources for development in the current new period.

Voters also reflected opinions and recommendations related to the regime and policies for employees of agencies, administrative units, and socio-political organizations affected by the implementation of the policy of merging administrative units; the issue of medical supplies to serve the people's medical examination and treatment needs...

Hoi An City voters speak at the meeting

After listening to voters' opinions and recommendations, representatives of the Hoi An City People's Committee discussed and answered issues under the authority of the local government.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai expressed his joy that voters and people highly agreed with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies on promoting socio-economic development and caring for people's lives.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly hopes and believes that voters of Hoi An City and Quang Nam Province will continue to support the major policies of the Central Government, especially in the context that the whole country is merging provincial-level administrative units, not organizing district-level units and merging commune-level administrative units; aiming at the goal of reducing the size of the state apparatus, ensuring a streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient apparatus.

Regarding the policy of merging Quang Nam province and Da Nang city, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai hopes that voters and people will continue to support the central government's major policy of streamlining the organizational apparatus; at the same time, he clearly stated that the issue now is to calculate so that the two localities of Quang Nam and Da Nang will develop more strongly after the merger. The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested that local authorities continue to pay attention and take care of implementing well the regime and policies for the affected subjects in accordance with the central government's regulations, and at the same time, quickly stabilize the organizational apparatus and ideology of the staff, civil servants and public employees, so as not to disrupt or affect the normal activities of the people and businesses.

Taking note of voters' opinions and recommendations, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai requested the People's Committee of Hoi An City to receive and review the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations and report to the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Nam Province for supervision and early response to voters.
