On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27 (1947-2024), this morning, July 6, a working delegation led by Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan solemnly offered flowers and incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the National Martyrs' Cemeteries of Road 9 and Truong Son; visited and presented gifts to policy families in Gio Linh district and Dong Ha city.

At the National Martyrs' Cemetery of Road 9, Truong Son, in a solemn and emotional atmosphere, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and leaders of Quang Tri province respectfully laid wreaths and offered incense to express their infinite gratitude to the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the cause of protecting the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people; vowing to strive to excellently fulfill all tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.

After the ceremony, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Mot, 92 years old, in Nam Tan village, Gio Son commune, Gio Linh district and the family of Mr. Nguyen Long Khiem (son of martyr Tran Thi Tien) in Quarter 3, Ward 1, Dong Ha city.
At the places she visited, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan affirmed that the Party and State always deeply appreciate the great contributions of heroic martyrs and families with meritorious services; wholeheartedly care for the material and spiritual lives of families with meritorious services, families with meritorious services to the revolution, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and wounded soldiers.

Presenting gifts to the families, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan kindly inquired about their health, encouraged them and wished that the families would uphold their revolutionary traditions and continue to contribute their efforts and intelligence to build their homeland, country and locality to become increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.
