Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan attends the 50th Anniversary of the Founding of Regiment 375

Professional, dedicated to work

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan congratulated and commended the efforts, feats and outstanding achievements that generations of leaders, commanders, officers and soldiers of Regiment 375, the Guard Command have achieved in recent times.

Outlining the current global, regional and domestic situation, the Vice President emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum located in the Ba Dinh Historical and Cultural Relic Complex are key targets for political security, holding a particularly important position for the capital Hanoi as well as the whole country. Therefore, the requirements and tasks for the People's Public Security Guard force in general and Regiment 375 in particular in the coming time are increasingly important and difficult; requiring the entire Regiment to continue to promote the glorious tradition of the force, unite, join hands, and strive to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

The Vice President requested that Regiment 375 continue to strictly comply with the absolute and direct leadership in all aspects of the Party, headed by General Secretary To Lam; the centralized and unified management of the State; the leadership and direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the Guard Command, the Management Board of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and the supervision of the people. The Regiment regularly attaches importance to the work of building a truly clean and strong Party; is determined to build an exemplary and pioneering Party Committee of Regiment 375, well implementing Uncle Ho's Six Teachings to the People's Public Security and Uncle Ho's teachings to the Guard force.

Thoroughly grasping and effectively implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on national security protection, the 375th Central Command strengthens the work of grasping, analyzing, forecasting the situation, identifying early and remotely the risks that threaten security and safety to promptly advise on policies and strategic solutions, absolutely protecting the safety of guard targets in all situations, not being passive, surprised, or making even the smallest mistake.

The Vice President emphasized the need to focus on building the Regiment, building a clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern Guard force, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation. Thoroughly grasping the viewpoint of "building people as the center, modern first, combined with modern means, logistics, and techniques to ensure synchronization and suitability: people first - guns later", promoting the building of a team of leaders, commanders, officers, and soldiers with steadfast political will, absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; with pure revolutionary ethics; proficient and sharp in professional skills; dedicated and responsible in work; close and civilized in communication and service to the people, contributing to spreading the noble image of the Guard soldier at the beloved Uncle Ho's Mausoleum.

Promoting the combined strength of the entire political system and relying on the people in security work, Regiment 375 strengthens close and effective coordination and cooperation with forces, agencies and units in performing tasks; focuses on training and specialized training in security profession, training skills in using and mastering weapons and support tools for officers and soldiers; promotes research and application of scientific and technological achievements, and equips with advanced and modern surveillance equipment.

At the same time, the unit strictly continued to arrange and streamline the organizational apparatus according to the direction of the Party Central Committee, the Ministry of Public Security and the Guard Command; coordinated with functional units of the Ministry of National Defense to study, develop and complete a plan to adjust the functions and tasks of Regiment 375 to suit and meet the requirements and tasks of the new period.

Promoting the glorious tradition of the heroic unit, the Vice President believes that the officers and soldiers of Regiment 375 will always be united, united, and highly determined, continuing to achieve many feats and outstanding achievements, contributing worthily to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Spreading the beautiful image of the Guard force

Reviewing the glorious history and tradition of 50 years, Colonel Trinh Cong Ruy, Commander of Regiment 375, emphasized that the maturity of Regiment 375 is not only reflected in its steadfast political stance and high sense of responsibility, but also in its innovation and improvement in the quality of training to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation. Officers and soldiers of the Regiment have continuously studied, trained, and mastered modern technical means, applied science and technology to security work, ensuring absolute safety for the protection target.

Over the past 50 years, Regiment 375 has made important contributions to the cause of national security protection. In particular, in important political and foreign affairs events of the country, the unit has always played a pivotal role in organizing absolute security for high-level conferences, the visit to President Ho Chi Minh and national ceremonial activities.

Along with that, the work of welcoming, guiding and serving domestic people and foreign visitors to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum has become one of the highlights in the activities of Regiment 375. With the motto of "respectful, thoughtful, enthusiastic, polite", the unit has contributed to spreading the beautiful image of the Guard force in particular and the People's Public Security in general in the hearts of the people and international friends.

With these outstanding achievements, Regiment 375 was honored to be recognized by the Party and State with many noble awards: Ho Chi Minh Medal, Third-class Labor Medal, Third-class Independence Medal, Second-class Military Exploit Medal, Third-class Military Exploit Medal, along with many Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit from the Government, the Ministry of Public Security and agencies and units inside and outside the force. In 2003, Regiment 375 was honored to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces in the Renewal Period by the Party and State.
