Vice President cuts ribbon to inaugurate Pac Bo kindergarten, Cao Bang

Great joy at the "model rural" school

This morning (September 5), in the joyful atmosphere welcoming the new school year 2024 - 2025, in Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province, the opening ceremony and inauguration of Pac Bo Kindergarten took place. The project was constructed by Deo Ca Group.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and leaders of ministries, branches and localities performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate Pac Bo Kindergarten.

Attending the ceremony were Comrade Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Mr. Tran Hong Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee; Ms. Phan Thi Kim Oanh, Deputy Head of the Office of the President; Representatives of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Education and Training; local agencies, departments, teachers, parents and students of the school.

Ha Quang is a mountainous border district of Cao Bang province.

The district has historical relic sites of Pac Bo, Kim Dong and Soc Giang border gate which are the connecting areas and trade routes of the district.

Currently, Ha Quang is still a poor district in the country, with the poverty rate accounting for 33% of the entire district. With the upgrading of educational facilities in the local development plan, Ha Quang district strives to no longer be a poor district by 2025, with people's lives improved and human resource training enhanced.

Speaking at the ceremony, Cao Bang Provincial Party Secretary Tran Hong Minh said that, imbued with the ideology and teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party and State always consider education and training as the top national policy. Many policies and guidelines have been issued, and many resources have been allocated to the education and training sector for development, especially in ethnic minority areas.

In Cao Bang province, with the attention of the Party and the State, in recent years, the province's education sector has gradually developed. The 2023-2024 school year recorded many breakthrough achievements, exceeding assigned targets such as: the construction of schools meeting national standards has many positive changes, the high school graduation rate has increased compared to previous school years, the quality of universal education and illiteracy eradication has been improved...

Pac Bo Kindergarten, although still facing many difficulties in terms of facilities, has recently paid great attention to education and training, striving to build a child-centered educational environment, ensuring conditions for children to receive full and comprehensive care.

"In the 2024-2025 school year, teachers and students of Pac Bo Kindergarten will start a new school year in a "model rural" school, more spacious and more beautiful.

Pac Bo Kindergarten is well-invested to meet the learning, playing and living needs of more than 150 children.

Mobilize maximum resources to overcome difficulties and ensure progress

Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, General Director of Deo Ca Group, said that immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony on June 10, 2024, implementing the direction of General Secretary and President To Lam, as the construction unit, Deo Ca Group immediately entered the project with the highest determination and greatest concentration to soon complete the project.

Pac Bo Kindergarten is a small-scale project, but it is one of the projects that faces many challenges: the geology has many rock slabs that require drilling and blasting, the foundation work requires advanced technology to handle, the construction area faces unfavorable weather, long-term rain...

However, with its capacity and experience, Deo Ca Group mobilized maximum resources, overcame difficulties and organized construction for 80 consecutive days and nights, completing the project on September 2.

"With this completion date, Deo Ca Group has met the requirement of the General Secretary and President to put the project into use before the new school year begins.

The effort to complete the project early is also a demonstration of the determination to "do what we say, do what we promise, and keep our promises on time" that Deo Ca has spread to all major traffic construction sites in recent times," said Mr. Vinh.

Pac Bo Kindergarten project has a total investment of 15 billion VND, built on an area of ​​1,800m², meeting the learning, playing and living needs of more than 150 children.

The school consists of 3 main buildings with 6 classrooms with private bathrooms, a principal's office, a multi-purpose building, and auxiliary facilities such as a kitchen, a guard house, a school gate, a school yard, and a fence system.

The classrooms are spaciously built, equipped with modern facilities, creating favorable conditions for students to study, helping teachers to promote their teaching capacity, contributing to the goal of bringing Pac Bo Kindergarten to national standards.
