Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Social Committee visits and presents Tet gifts in Mong Cai and Ha Long

On the occasion of the New Year 2025 and preparation for the Lunar New Year, on January 11, Comrade Do Thi Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Social Committee, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province, visited and presented Tet gifts to workers and children in difficult circumstances in Mong Cai City and Ha Long City.

In Mong Cai City, Comrade Do Thi Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Social Committee, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh Province, visited and wished a happy new year to workers of Ngan Long Science and Technology Company Limited (Hai Yen Industrial Park).

80 Tet gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor were given to 80 disadvantaged workers of Ngan Long Science and Technology Company Limited.

He kindly inquired about the living and working conditions of the workers; expressed his hope that the workers would continue to comply with labor discipline, strive to improve their professional qualifications, work productively and with high quality to bring about good results in the production and business activities of the enterprise, contributing to Quang Ninh province . At the same time, he requested the Company's Board of Directors to continue implementing solutions to improve productivity and quality in the production and business process; thereby increasingly having conditions to better care for the material and spiritual life of the workers.

On this occasion, Comrade Do Thi Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Social Committee, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province, presented 80 gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 80 workers in difficult circumstances of Ngan Long Science and Technology Company Limited, with a total value of 104 million VND, contributing to taking care of all workers and laborers to have a happy Tet.

Comrade Do Thi Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Social Committee, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province, talked and encouraged children being raised at the Center for Sponsorship and Care of Children in Special Circumstances in Quang Ninh province.

Also in Mong Cai City, Comrade Do Thi Lan presented personal gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to 10 students in difficult circumstances in the area, thereby encouraging them to overcome difficulties, strive in life, study and celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025 happily and happily. She also requested Mong Cai City, in which the key is the city's Education and Training sector, to continue to pay attention and take good care of students in difficult circumstances, creating good conditions for them to study and practice, becoming useful citizens for society, contributing to building their homeland and country in the future.

In Ha Long City, Comrade Do Thi Lan visited and wished a Happy New Year to the Quang Ninh Province Child Care and Sponsorship Facility, which is currently caring for and raising 97 children in special circumstances. She kindly asked, talked with, and encouraged the children being raised at the Facility; at the same time, she asked the staff and workers here to continuously make efforts to raise children in special circumstances well and to welcome a happy and warm New Year with them. On this occasion, Comrade Do Thi Lan gave personal Tet gifts to the children at the Facility.

Tonight, January 11, Comrade Do Thi Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Social Committee, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province will attend the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Thanks to the Party"; presenting Tet gifts to union members, workers and civil servants in difficult circumstances in Ba Che district.
