Disseminate new regulations in the 2024 Land Law to the people of Dien Bien Phu city

In addition to the Secretaries and Chairmen of the People's Committees of wards and communes in the city, 600 people from communes and wards also attended the training on the 2024 Land Law.

Accordingly, within 2 days, reporters from the following units: Department of Land Information Data Registration, Department of Land Resources Planning and Development (under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) will convey the newly amended and supplemented contents of the 2024 Land Law; Decrees guiding the implementation to the people in Dien Bien Phu city; thereby helping people update knowledge, documents, new regulations promptly and conveniently in implementing and supervising specialized agencies in implementing land procedures in the locality.

Many officials and people of Dien Bien Phu city attended the training course on Land Law 2024.

Emphasizing the need to provide information and new regulations amended and supplemented in the 2024 Land Law to officials and people in the city, comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien Phu city, affirmed that the full attendance of officials and people at the training conference showed the special interest of the people in the implementation of the Land Law in the locality.

This is an important premise for the 2024 Land Law to be proactively implemented by the people and local authorities, contributing to accelerating the progress of local infrastructure construction projects and works.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung said: At the 5th extraordinary session on January 18, 2024, the National Assembly passed the 2024 Land Law with 16 chapters and 260 articles (amending and supplementing 180/212 articles of the 2013 Land Law and adding 78 new articles). Along with the 2024 Land Law are Decrees, circulars guiding the implementation and documents detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law issued by the Government, the Prime Minister and ministries, branches and localities, creating a synchronous and unified land law system, which is a complete and comprehensive legal basis for the management and economical, effective and sustainable use of land resources towards the goal of maximizing land resources, meeting the requirements of socio -economic development, hunger eradication, poverty reduction, ensuring national defense, security and protecting the ecological environment.

In order to apply the 2024 Land Law, focusing on 4 Decrees, including: Decree No. 102/2024/ND-CP detailing a number of articles of the Land Law; Decree 101/2024/ND-CP regulating basic land survey; registration, granting of land use right certificates, ownership of assets attached to land and land information system; Decree No. 71/2024/ND-CP dated June 27, 2024 regulating land prices; Decree No. 88/2024/ND-CP dated July 15, 2024 regulating compensation, support and resettlement when the State recovers land to be implemented accurately and synchronously in practice in the city, comrade Nguyen Quang Hung requested that cadres, civil servants, public employees, organizations and people in the area must focus on listening and fully recording the contents; Actively exchange and discuss with a spirit of learning, grasp the issues firmly and thoroughly so that after each cadre, civil servant, public employee, organization, and individual using land can immediately apply the knowledge and understanding that has been received into practice and assigned professional tasks.

From there, contributing to the implementation of socio-economic tasks, speeding up site clearance and land procedures in Dien Bien Phu city.
