After days of prolonged gloom, the city has transformed with golden sunshine illuminating the flower-strewn slopes and leafy banks. The clear sunlight illuminates the vibrant pink and purple bauhinia blossoms, the fluttering green apricot blossoms on the archways, the bustling yellow of the golden shower trees, and the purple morning glory and sea morning glory blooming along the coastal hedges. All compete to show off their beauty in the sun. After the banyan trees shed their leaves and sprout new green shoots, the golden hues of the crape myrtle and sal trees cast shimmering shadows on the sidewalks. Season after season arrives, following the rhythm of time, bringing sunshine to the city, which is resplendent with the blue sky and sea, and the colors of the flowers.
Nha Trang on sunny days is blessed with flowers that seem to be companions to the golden sunshine and gentle breeze. Coming from the north, you'll encounter swathes of colorful bougainvillea clinging to the cliffs, waving in greeting. Here, the flamboyant trees blaze with red almost year-round. Vo Nguyen Giap Boulevard is lined with fields of pink and purple bauhinia flowers, and crape myrtle blossoms waiting for the summer sun to burst into bloom. Walking along these endless flower-strewn slopes stirs the soul of anyone returning to their beloved city, their home.

The city now boasts a variety of flowers: cassia, golden shower trees, oilseed flowers, red sala, and vibrant red crape myrtle trees lining every street. Not only are there rows of trees, but courtyards, rooftop gardens, and balconies are also filled with flowers swaying gently down towards the streets, adding beauty and greeting passersby. While men used to be the primary buyers of ornamental plants, women are now the main customers, choosing flowers and plants to take home. Many consider gardening a daily joy. Wherever there's an empty plot of land or space, plants are grown. Therefore, although the city doesn't yet have many distinctive flowering plants, flowers are everywhere, blooming brightly in the sunshine. Perhaps each person cherishes a particular flower to fill their heart with springtime; to embrace a greener life through concrete reality – tree-lined streets and sidewalks, or magnificent flower gardens overflowing with emotion.
Nha Trang's street greenery is not yet complete, despite efforts to create sidewalks lined with specific tree species: Hoang Van Thu Street - Spondias mombin; Le Thanh Ton Street - Cassia fistula and Bougainvillea; Pasteur Street - Cassia fistula and Flame tree; Yesin Street - Dipterocarpus; Tran Phu Street - Coconut and Terminalia catappa... But in every family and every individual, there is a green corner, first for themselves and then for the community, so the city is increasingly vibrant with colorful flowers.
