Despite praise and criticism, the film "Ghost Light" by director Hoang Nam has surpassed the 100 billion VND revenue mark.

According to statistics from Box Office Vietnam on the afternoon of February 18, the movie "Den am hon" has earned more than 100.2 billion VND. The movie is still in theaters, so its revenue will continue to increase in the coming time.

Some scenes in "Ghost Lights"

"The Ghost Lamp" is Hoang Nam's first work. The film is inspired by "The Tale of Kieu", released in theaters from February 7 (10th day of Tet).

The film brings together the cast: Diem Trang, Tuan Anh, Phu Thinh, Hoang Kim Ngoc, Tuan Mo, Hai Anh. Dinh Khang, Hao Khang... The film was filmed in Cao Bang, with beautiful natural scenery.

"The Ghost Lamp" has plus points for the setting, camera angles, and careful investment of director Hoang Nam. However, the film also has minus points for the script, and the male lead's acting has not convinced the audience. In return, the acting of Hoang Kim Ngoc and Tuan Mo is well-matched, creating the most attraction in the film.

Recently, in addition to mixed praise and criticism, "The Ghost Light" has also been noisy because of the director's shocking statements in the media and social networks. He denied that the film was plagiarized, revealed that someone threatened not to let him go to theaters during Tet, accused his film of being attacked by competitors...

The truth of the matter is still unclear but has become a topic of much discussion in the online community.
