According to this decision, Long Duc 3 Industrial Park has a planning area of ​​over 244 hectares. This is a modern industrial park, focusing on sustainable development factors, especially environmental protection, energy saving and renewable energy integration to minimize negative impacts on the surrounding environment.

Long Duc 3 Industrial Park is a multi-industry industrial park aiming at an ecological industrial park model, focusing on attracting industries with modern, environmentally friendly technology, prioritizing high-tech and supporting industries.

The establishment of the Long Duc 3 Industrial Park zoning plan aims to concretize the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. At the same time, it is necessary to reasonably allocate functional areas, plan internal traffic systems, water supply and drainage, electricity supply, etc. From there, it will serve as a basis for implementing detailed planning projects, selecting and attracting investment, and as a legal basis for implementing planning management, attracting investment, constructing and operating industrial park infrastructure.

In July 2023, the Prime Minister issued a decision approving the investment policy of the Long Duc 3 Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project. At the 26th Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council (February 2025), the Provincial People's Council passed a resolution on the task of planning the construction zoning at a scale of 1/2000 for Long Duc 3 Industrial Park.
