According to the decision, the forest area with exploitable reserves is 14,119 hectares, in Sub-area 580, Vinh O commune, Vinh Linh district; Sub-area 600T, Linh Truong commune, Gio Linh district. The total expected value of forest products of the entire 14,119 hectares of forest put into exploitation after deducting the costs of exploitation, transportation, and clearing (rounded) is 1,650,250,000 VND. The above price is the starting price for organizing an auction according to current regulations.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Ben Hai River Basin Protection Forest Management Board to organize an auction of forest timber with approved documents and plans for exploitation and utilization of common forest plant species from natural forests on the area of ​​converted forest use purposes to implement the project of the road connecting the East branch of Ho Chi Minh Road with the West branch of Ho Chi Minh Road.

It is known that previously, the Ben Hai River Basin Protective Forest Management Board had organized 3 auctions but failed due to the inappropriate starting price.
