(Dan Tri) - On December 26, in Hanoi, the Forum "Air logistics services for developing Vietnam's tourism destination brand: Expanding to attract international tourists to and returning to Vietnam" took place.
The forum was organized by the Institute for Brand and Competitiveness Strategy (BCSI) in coordination with relevant units. The program was accompanied by Petrolimex Aviation Fuel Joint Stock Company.

At the forum, delegates shared a lot of useful information about tourism logistics. In 2024, Vietnam's aviation industry will reach the level of development of 2019 - the time when the industry developed before entering a recession due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Accordingly, as of December 15, international transport volume reached about more than 41 million passengers, an increase of 27% compared to 2023, of which domestic airlines accounted for 42% of the market share. The occupancy rate of flights reached 80%.
At the forum, Mr. Vu Quoc Tri - General Secretary of Vietnam Tourism Association - shared about Vietnam's tourism development strategy until 2030, in which the main viewpoint is to develop sustainable and inclusive tourism, on the basis of green growth.
The goal is that by 2030, tourism will truly be a spearhead economic sector and develop sustainably. Vietnam will become an attractive destination, among the top 30 countries in the world in terms of tourism competitiveness, fully meeting the requirements and goals of sustainable development.
In addition, the content of the tourism system planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2045, includes the goal that by 2025, Vietnam tourism will strive to welcome 25-28 million international visitors; 130 million domestic visitors; and directly contribute 8-9% to GDP.

Mr. Vu Quoc Tri said that it is necessary to promote and strengthen linkages in tourism business to bring more positive effects such as linkages, coordination, sharing of responsibilities and benefits with businesses in other industries and fields; linkages with Vietnamese airlines; linkages with road tourism transport businesses; building close linkages with railway and waterway transport businesses; business linkages between different fields of operation in the tourism industry, such as: travel, accommodation, food and beverage and other tourism services.
Through the forum, delegates also shared a lot of useful information and hoped to contribute their voice to realize the goal set by 2030 for the tourism industry to truly be a spearhead economic sector and develop sustainably.
