Developing a team of Ha Tinh entrepreneurs with scale, capacity and qualifications

According to the plan to implement Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW dated October 10, 2023 of the Politburo, Ha Tinh strives to have more and more large-scale enterprises reaching national and regional levels.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung has just signed and issued a plan to implement Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW dated October 10, 2023 of the Politburo on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new period.

The plan sets the target by 2030: Developing a team of Ha Tinh entrepreneurs with scale, capacity and qualifications to meet the goals of industrialization and modernization of the country. Strive to have more and more large-scale enterprises reaching national and regional levels; attract many large enterprises with leading roles in key industries and fields; a number of enterprises with important positions and roles in the global supply chain and value chain, mastering a number of industrial and agricultural value chains, having national and international competitiveness in basic, priority and spearhead industries.

Some specific targets by 2030

- Strive for the whole province to have over 20,000 enterprises.

- The business sector contributes about 65% - 70% of the province's GRDP.

- The business sector's contribution to the budget accounts for 70% -75% of the total domestic budget revenue in the province.

- Total investment capital from the business sector accounts for 65% - 70% of total investment capital in the province.

- The industrial production value of supporting industry accounts for 50% of the industrial production value of the province's processing and manufacturing industry; attracting 5-7 supporting industry enterprises; forming large-scale, multinational domestic industrial clusters with international competitiveness.

With a vision to 2045, the plan aims to develop a team of Ha Tinh entrepreneurs with the scale, capacity and qualifications to meet the national development goals, high income, regional and international position and prestige; strive for a part of enterprises to have international brands, leading a number of global supply chains and value chains.

Developing a team of Ha Tinh entrepreneurs with scale, capacity and qualifications

Ha Tinh strives to have more and more large-scale enterprises reaching national and regional levels.

To effectively implement the set goals, the plan proposes 7 groups of solutions.

Firstly, raise awareness of the position and role of entrepreneurs in achieving national development goals.

Second, perfecting policies and laws, creating a favorable, safe, and equal investment and business environment for entrepreneurs and businesses to develop and contribute.

Third, develop a strong team of entrepreneurs equal to the goals and tasks of the new era.

Fourth, build ethics and business culture, promote national spirit, and arouse the aspiration for socio-economic development of the province.

Fifth, strengthen solidarity, cooperation and association between businessmen and workers, farmers and intellectuals under the leadership of the Party.

Sixth, seek support and assistance from the Vietnam Federation of Industry and Commerce; Promote the role of the Ha Tinh Business Association, Associations, Business Associations and organizations representing businessmen and enterprises.

Seventh, strengthen the leadership of the Party and the management of the State in building and promoting the role of the business community.

Regarding implementation, Party committees and organizations at all levels shall lead, direct, propagate, disseminate, thoroughly grasp and develop programs and plans, and propose specific solutions to organize the implementation of Resolution 41 and the Plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee suitable to each locality and unit.

The Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee directs the development of documents to implement the plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; periodically reports on implementation results, advises on preliminary and final reviews of implementation according to regulations.

The Provincial People's Council Party Committee directs the issuance of mechanisms and policies to support and develop the province's business community. The Provincial Fatherland Front Party Committee and socio-political organizations direct, guide, and mobilize union members, association members, and the people to actively participate in and supervise the implementation of the plan.

Specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee according to their functions and tasks are responsible for monitoring, supervising, and urging the implementation of the plan and reporting to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
