Both news bulletins announcing the historic victory of April 30, 1975, broadcast on Voice of Vietnam Radio from Hanoi at noon on April 30, 1975, and Saigon Liberation Radio and Television Station broadcast from Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of May 1, 1975, will be rebroadcast in the political art program Triumphant Song organized by Voice of Vietnam Radio on the evening of April 25 at the Hanoi Opera House.

In the program, in addition to the music with heroic revolutionary songs, the program also broadcasts many valuable documents about the victory of April 30, 1975 such as the two historical victory news bulletins mentioned above.

Those were the news reports that broke out the emotions of the whole nation at noon on April 30 and the evening of May 1 of that year.

50 years later, the audience once again heard those touching sounds announcing peace:

"This is the voice of Vietnam, broadcasting from Hanoi, capital of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Faced with the overwhelming attack of our army and people, the enemy was forced to lay down their weapons and surrender unconditionally.

The liberation army quickly occupied command posts, military bases, offices, and important positions in the city.

At exactly 11:30 a.m. on April 30, 1975, the flag of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of South Vietnam flew over the roof of the puppet government's presidential palace and throughout the city.

The Ho Chi Minh campaign was a complete victory. Saigon city, named after the great President Ho Chi Minh, was completely liberated...".

Images of joy bursting out on the streets of Hanoi on April 30, 1975 will be shown to the audience.

And the audience also got to see again the image of announcer Ho My Hanh sitting firmly and resolutely reading the heroic and emotional victory news from the equipment of the old government television station that we had just taken over.

That was the first broadcast of Saigon Liberation Television at 7:00 p.m. on May 1, 1975:

"This is Saigon Liberation Radio and Television, broadcasting from Saigon, greetings to our beloved compatriots. From this historic and emotional moment, at 11:30 a.m. on April 30, 1975, our heroic and glorious city has been liberated...".

The audience of the political art night Triumphant Song also had the opportunity to see precious images of the atmosphere of Hanoi streets bursting with joy on April 30, 1975 and images of Saigon in the first days of liberation with an equally joyful atmosphere.

Or the image of generals and leaders of the two regions meeting in the city named after Uncle Ho in the days when the country was just unified, the bright smiles and tight hugs between the generals on days of peace.

Images of Saigon streets in the early days of liberation will also be replayed for the audience.

Musician Trong Bang composed and completed the song Storm Rises in just about an hour. Immediately after, the song was brought to Voice of Vietnam Radio to be recorded and quickly spread strongly among the masses in that special year.

People's Artist Quoc Hung, the program's general director, said that the Triumphal Song was completely re-staged, with new, modern arrangements to suit young singers.
