Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai affirmed that Vietnam in general and the Vietnamese National Assembly in particular always attach importance to promoting relations with traditional African friends, of which Algeria is one of the leading important partners in the region. Vietnam wishes to promote relations with Algeria through all channels of Government, National Assembly and people-to-people exchange.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly highly appreciated the fact that the two sides have maintained contact in recent times at the level of leaders of the two countries' Foreign Ministries, demonstrating a high level of political trust, and affirmed that they will promote areas of mutual interest and have prospects for expanding cooperation, especially in the fields of agriculture, energy, etc.

Promoting bilateral cooperation in the coming time, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai suggested that the two sides continue to increase delegation exchanges at all levels, promote the role of the two legislative bodies in promoting cooperation between the two countries, and make parliamentary cooperation an important channel in implementing each country's foreign policy.
Vice President of the Algerian National Assembly - Mr. Monder Bouden highly appreciated the outstanding socio-economic achievements that Vietnam has achieved in recent times. Affirming the long-standing traditional cooperative relationship between the two countries, the Vice President of the Algerian National Assembly hoped that Algeria and Vietnam would increase delegation exchanges at all levels. Thereby, contributing to creating momentum to promote the comprehensive cooperative relationship between the two countries to a new height. Along with that, expanding economic and trade cooperation, attracting investment, paying attention to promoting cultural cooperation and local cooperation. Especially the cooperation and twinning between Binh Dinh and Dien Bien provinces with localities with economic and cultural similarities in Algeria.
