Over the years, the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese in Da Nang city has regularly coordinated with the government, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations of the city to mobilize overseas Vietnamese and their relatives to participate in the city's social security programs.
The work of great solidarity and mobilizing overseas Vietnamese to turn to their homeland has achieved many positive results. Every year, the program of meeting overseas Vietnamese on the occasion of Lunar New Year always attracts the attention of overseas Vietnamese, who attend when they return to Da Nang to celebrate Tet with their families. In addition, the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese coordinates to organize many exchange activities, sports, and summer camps for overseas Vietnamese youth...
Speaking at the Congress, comrade Le Van Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city, praised and acknowledged the positive contributions of the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese of Da Nang city in recent times in the work of propagating and mobilizing overseas Vietnamese to turn to the homeland; proactively grasping the aspirations and recommendations of overseas Vietnamese.
Comrade Le Van Trung suggested that the Association continue to effectively implement Conclusion No. 12-KL/TW dated August 12, 2021 of the Politburo on work with overseas Vietnamese in the new situation; promote the role of bridging and connecting the overseas Vietnamese community.

To encourage patriotism and national pride in the overseas Vietnamese community and to disseminate information about the country and the city, the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws to overseas Vietnamese, comrade Le Van Trung also suggested that the Association introduce overseas intellectuals with high professional qualifications and economic conditions to invest and participate in the city's development.
Comrade Le Van Trung also requested the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese in Da Nang City to coordinate in organizing meetings and exchanges on the occasion of overseas Vietnamese returning to their homeland to celebrate Tet and attend important events of the city.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese in Da Nang City, term V, 2024-2029, consisting of 31 members. Ms. Le Thi Thai Thanh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Dacotex Da Nang Company Limited, was elected as Chairwoman of the Association, term V, 2024-2029.
