As the core area of the UNESCO Dak Nong Global Geopark (GGP), Krong No strives to preserve the traditional culture of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development, bringing new experiences and enriching Dak Nong tourism products.

Krong No district has the longest and widest volcanic system in Southeast Asia with nearly 50 large and small caves. Realizing the tourism potential of Nam Nung land, my family joined the community tourism group. I want to preserve the cultural identity of my people; continue traditional crafts such as weaving, brocade weaving, making rice wine; promote agricultural products of the people here such as coffee, fruits, vegetables, etc.
Passionate about the cultural traditions of the M'nong people, when participating in the community tourism group, female artist H'Broi in Bon Ja Rah could not help but be happy. Because of her talent in playing gongs and singing folk songs, there are many opportunities to perform. The folk songs that H'Broi has accumulated over time about daily life, love between couples, praising the village, the brave young men protecting the village, beautiful nature..., have become highlights for tourists during cultural and artistic exchange nights.
After participating in the gong skills training course in 2024, Y Bang (born in 2010), Ja Rah hamlet, Nam Nung commune, actively participated in the gong team of the Yok Nam Nung Community Tourism Group.

Similarly, H'Noa in Bon Ja Rah has been a young member of the dance group for 3 years. The young girl is always passionate and conscious of preserving the cultural beauty of her people. H'Noa's voluntary participation has inspired the young generation in the village to promote the traditional cultural beauty of the nation.
The district has also established 5 traditional art troupes to serve tourism in Nam Thanh village, Nam Xuan commune; Ja Rah village, Nam Nung commune; Phu Vinh village, Quang Phu commune; Nam Tan village, Nam Da commune; Nam Cao village, Dak Sor commune; Choih village, Duc Xuyen commune. In Nam Xuan commune alone, 10 folk art clubs have been established to regularly organize activities and performances. Some clubs accept sightseeing tours, combining learning about the customs and practices of ethnic minorities.
People are gradually realizing the benefits of community tourism, being more proactive in preserving traditional culture and restoring handicrafts. Every year, the locality organizes 3 typical and unique festivals. Of which, the Tam Blang M'prang Bon festival is upgraded, associated with the Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark.
In recent times, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with departments, branches, sectors and localities to develop programs and projects to orientate the preservation and promotion of traditional culture and the development of tourism products. In addition to activities to promote and advertise the image of the core zone of the Geopark to domestic and international friends, the cultural sector and Krong No district have promoted propaganda and mobilized ethnic communities to preserve and promote good traditional cultural values to serve local tourism activities.
Possessing many advantages in terms of natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage, Krong No is an ideal destination for tourists who love to explore. Diverse cultural tourism products such as brocade weaving, rice wine, local cuisine, etc. not only enrich the experience but also contribute to promoting the local image, creating unique features, attracting tourists and promoting economic and social development.
From 2021 to present, Krong No district has established traditional art troupes in Nam Xuan commune, Nam Nung commune, Quang Phu commune, Nam Da commune, Dak Sor commune, Duc Xuyen commune... to preserve and promote cultural values associated with tourism development.
