Along with the special national relic of the tombs and temples of the Tran Dynasty kings in Tien Duc commune, Hung Ha district, there are also 93 provincial relics, many of which are ranked at the national level. The active participation of the Party Committee, the government, and all classes of people in preserving and promoting the value of historical and cultural relics not only demonstrates deep love and national pride but also contributes to promoting and developing tourism, making a positive contribution to socio -economic development.
The special national monument of the tombs and temples of the Tran Dynasty kings is a destination for today's generation to learn more about the nation's history.
Respect and preserve the original elements of the monument
On September 16, 2021, the Prime Minister issued a decision approving the task of planning the preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of the special national relic site of the tombs and temples of the Tran Dynasty kings to preserve, embellish and restore the special national relic site commensurate with the role of the Tran Dynasty in national history and promote the value of the relic site and related archaeological areas to become attractive cultural tourist destinations for visitors when visiting Thai Binh. From there, connecting the complex of relic sites associated with the Tran Dynasty in Thai Binh with other famous historical and cultural relics and scenic spots in the region to create a rich chain of tourism products, contributing to the socio-economic development of Hung Ha district in particular and Thai Binh province in general.
The planning area is 195.01 hectares. In August 2023, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism report on the planning plan for the special national relic of the tomb and temple complex of the Tran Dynasty kings. Comrade Tran Thi Bich Hang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the planning must demonstrate the unique features and historical significance of the relic; the space of the tomb and temple complex must be solemn and quiet, the auxiliary areas must have harmonious and suitable landscapes, ensuring spiritual elements, promoting values, promoting tourism, creating conditions for people to participate in activities serving local culture and tourism.
Mr. Do Quoc Tuan, Director of the Provincial Museum, said: In 2023, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the consulting unit, Hung Ha district to advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and central ministries and branches to submit to the Prime Minister for approval of the detailed planning of the special national relic of the tomb and temple complex of the Tran Dynasty kings on the principle of respecting and preserving the original elements of the relic, while opening up a new space, building infrastructure, works, and auxiliary items to connect tourist areas and spots in the province with domestic tourist areas and spots to serve tourism development.

Implementing the Resolution on tourism development
After more than 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 103-NQ/HU, dated December 10, 2009 of the District Party Committee on promoting tourism development in the period of 2010 - 2015 and orientation to 2020, tourism activities in Hung Ha district have achieved many positive results. In particular, tourist spots and routes associated with historical and cultural relics have been gradually formed, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in localities. Tourism activities have gradually become regular, at some tourist spots, there are groups of interpreters introducing historical events related to the relics, thereby creating conditions for visitors from all directions and local people to have more understanding of the value and significance of tourist spots, the work of preserving and promoting the value of relics in contemporary life.
Regularly present at the special national relic of the tombs and temples of the Tran Dynasty kings to welcome visitors to offer incense and visit the scenery, during the Tran Temple festival, the work of Meritorious Artisan Vu Xuan Thang, a member of the relic management board, becomes even busier.
Sharing about the new features of this year's traditional festival, Meritorious Artisan Vu Xuan Thang said: Every traditional festival, the relic site welcomes tens of thousands of visitors to offer incense, worship and learn about the nation's history. We hope that through the festival, visitors from near and far will better understand the nation's historical milestones and each local person will be more proud of their homeland as the birthplace of a powerful dynasty.
As one of the spring visitors to Tran Temple during the traditional festival, Ms. Mai Thi Vui, Hanoi city said: Through the mass media, our group came to offer incense, remember the great contributions of the Tran Dynasty kings at Tran Temple in Thai Binh, saw the beautiful scenery, the atmosphere was very joyful, excited towards the big festival. The group will return to the relic site to immerse themselves in the traditional festival atmosphere, experience folk competitions.
Mr. Dinh Ba Khai, Vice Chairman of Hung Ha District People's Committee informed: We are focusing on investing in tourism infrastructure, enhancing promotion, linkage, and cooperation in tourism development; promoting and attracting businesses to invest in tourist areas... Besides, linking Hung Ha tourism with tourism of the province, the region and the whole country; promoting propaganda and mobilizing people to practice civilized lifestyles, creating good impressions on tourists; perfecting the apparatus, improving the efficiency of management and exploitation of relics..., soon making Hung Ha a key tourist destination of the province.
Currently, Hung Ha district is building a resolution on promoting tourism development with a vision to 2030. The active participation of Party committees and authorities at all levels, the consensus and response of all classes of people, along with the available potential and advantages, especially with the tomb and temple of the Tran Dynasty kings in Tien Duc commune, a famous destination with a provincial-level festival taking place every year, will soon make tourism an important economic sector associated with the development of services and trade in the district.
