Earlier, Mr. Hoang Quang Huy in Chuoi village, Lam Hoa commune, discovered a large bomb on the bank of a stream. He immediately informed the local authorities. Upon receiving a request from the Provincial Military Command, the MAG mobile bomb disposal team quickly arrived at the scene to deploy emergency measures to neutralize the threat.
Upon inspection, MAG experts determined that this was an M117 bomb, weighing approximately 360kg, with a lethal radius of up to 1.5km. After approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes of deployment, the bomb was safely disposed of and transported to a centralized detonation facility. It is expected that the bomb will be destroyed in the coming days, along with other explosives.
