Strange object resembling a drone discovered in Quang Ngai

On December 16, the Sa Ky Port Border Guard Station (under the Quang Ngai Border Guard) coordinated with the military agency of Tinh Ky commune (Quang Ngai city, Quang Ngai province) to conduct a preliminary inspection of a strange object drifting ashore in An Vinh village (Tinh Ky commune).

At around 6pm on December 15, while fishing at the beach of An Vinh village, Mr. Tran Thanh (65 years old, in Tinh Ky commune) discovered a strange object that looked like a drone. Finding it strange, Mr. Thanh called his family members to bring it home for display.

However, because the object had an unusual design and weight, he reported it to the Sa Ky Port Border Guard Station.

The tail of the device has a motor attached like a propeller.

The strange object has the shape of a drone, about 3 m long, 30 cm in diameter, with 2 wings in the middle of the body, each wing is equivalent to 65 cm long. Along with the above dimensions, the head, tail and body of the strange object have propellers attached and many numbers and symbols printed on them.

Due to drifting underwater for a long time, some details and equipment on the object have been deformed, so authorities have not yet made a specific assessment.

Currently, the Sa Ky Port Border Guard Station has collected the object and brought it to the storage unit and reported to superiors to determine the origin of the strange object.
