Woman's body found floating on Hieu River

On September 21, the leader of the People's Committee of Gio Viet Commune (Gio Linh District, Quang Tri Province) said that on the morning of the same day, people in Xuan Ngoc Village discovered a body floating on Hieu River while fishing. The people then reported it to the authorities.

Leaders of Gio Viet commune and functional forces were present to inspect the scene, recover the victim's body and organize an autopsy to clarify the cause and identify the identity.

According to the leader of Gio Viet Commune People's Committee, the body discovered was that of a woman about 50 years old, in the process of decomposition. The victim was wearing a short-sleeved black shirt with red stripes, long pants and sun protection gloves.
