An explorer in the survey team said that most of the newly discovered caves are magical and shimmering. Each cave has its own unique features, representing the outstanding geological, geomorphological and hydrological values of each area of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.

Mr. Pham Hong Thai, Director of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board, said that the newly discovered caves are only within the scope of research, location determination, and preliminary description.

Therefore, the unit needs to conduct in-depth surveys and research to clarify the value, thereby having accurate assessments in the conservation and sustainable exploitation of this landscape and cave.

Quang Binh is known as the "Kingdom of Caves" with more than 400 discovered caves. Among them are Son Doong Cave - the largest cave in the world and En Cave - the third largest cave in the world.
