According to Mr. Tuan, on September 14, after hearing a dog barking behind the house, he went out to check and discovered two pangolins (1 mother and 1 baby) lying in a tree hole at the foot of the mountain.
Fearing that the mother and baby pangolins would be hunted by the family's dogs, Mr. Tuan took them home to take temporary care of them, then handed them over to the authorities to release them back into the forest.
According to the receipt minutes, the 2 Javan pangolins are rare and endangered species in group IB, including 1 female (weighing 2.8 kg), injured with pus on the tail, not eating for 3 days and 1 baby pangolin of undetermined gender weighing 0.05 kg, with dry navel that has not fallen off.

At the same time, a document will be sent to the Binh Dinh Provincial Forest Protection Department to report the incident so that the unit's leaders can review and direct the handling according to regulations.
