Speaking at the direction, Provincial Party Secretary Le Quang Tung emphasized that, in response to the task requirements, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee needs to calculate and reasonably arrange work for the existing staff, while at the same time uniting and making efforts to overcome the current situation of low staff quotas to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

As an advisory body, assisting the Provincial Party Committee, directly and regularly the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on internal affairs, anti-corruption, anti-negativity and judicial reform, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee needs to regularly pay attention to monitoring and early detection of potential corruption and negativity in agencies, units and localities to have timely preventive and containment measures.

2024 - the year of accelerating the comprehensive implementation of all fields, including internal affairs, with a large workload, therefore, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Party Committees actively participated in preparing the contents of the work of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, as well as successfully implementing the goals and tasks set forth by the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress in the fields of internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity, and judicial reform.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee strengthens propaganda, dissemination, and timely implementation of the Party's guidelines and resolutions, policies, and laws of the State on internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity, and judicial reform to cadres, party members, and the people, as well as advising the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee to lead and direct well the work of internal affairs, anti-corruption, judicial reform, receiving people, and handling citizens' petitions to achieve the highest results. Strengthen professional training for cadres and civil servants of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to meet the requirements of assigned tasks.

The report at the working session stated: In 2023, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee led and directed the successful completion of the 2023 work program and inspection and supervision program of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and other tasks assigned by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Central Internal Affairs Committee, as well as timely and effectively advised on the activities of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity and the Provincial Steering Committee for Judicial Reform according to the plan and arising tasks.

Advise on handling petitions, complaints, denunciations, recommendations, reflections and citizen reception work in accordance with regulations, promote the role of a focal point for coordinating with inter-sectoral agencies, proactively remove difficulties and obstacles, ensure that difficult and complicated cases are handled carefully and with consistency among the prosecuting agencies. Coordination with relevant agencies and units is increasingly close and effective. The implementation of the Central Internal Affairs Commission's thematic emulation plan continues to receive attention and implementation.

In the coming time, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee is determined to perform well the assigned tasks, including advising the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to issue key work programs, inspection and supervision programs on internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity and judicial reform, directives on national defense and security, leadership and direction plans for anti-corruption and negativity work in 2024.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang discussed and suggested a number of solutions for the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to overcome the current situation of low civil servant payroll and number of functional departments of the committee while the workload is high to meet the requirements of assigned tasks.

At the same time, it is recommended that the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee proactively work with relevant units and then propose to the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee to work with leaders of agencies in the central judicial sector to pay attention to having a mechanism to second officers of an agency in the provincial internal affairs sector to strengthen the two professional departments of the committee, contributing to the good performance of assigned tasks.
