Team No. 2 of the Market Management Department has just issued a decision to impose administrative penalties and confiscate evidence from a business in Dak To district for the illegal possession of clothing and military equipment of the Vietnam People's Army.
During the inspection, the inspection team discovered that the establishment was displaying and selling 30 sets of military uniforms, field uniforms, and professional uniforms illegally. The expected fine for this violation is 15 million VND.
Previously, Market Management Team No. 2 also coordinated with the Dak Ha District Police and the Dak Ha Town People's Committee to inspect the clothing store of businesswoman Vu Thi Nguyet in Dak Ha town.
Here, authorities discovered 1,000 sets of camouflage clothing resembling military uniforms, used military equipment from foreign countries, bearing foreign labels without documentation proving their legality.
Market Management Team No. 2 issued an administrative violation report and fined the aforementioned business 50 million VND for trading in smuggled goods on the prohibited import list.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen's business establishment also had 57 smuggled camouflage jackets confiscated by Market Management Team No. 2, along with an administrative fine of 1,500,000 VND.
For the business owned by Ms. Le Thi Hiep, the inspection team confiscated 61 sets of camouflage clothing and fined her 4,500,000 VND.
