More than 2,000 suspected smuggled cosmetic products discovered at Viettel Post office

Market Management Team No. 9 - Ha Giang Market Management Department has just conducted a surprise inspection of the warehouse of Viettel Post Dong Van Post Office (Ha Ho village, Sa Phin commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province).

At the time of inspection, 1,013 cosmetic products were found without product labels; 997 cosmetic products with foreign language labels were packed in 4 cardboard boxes with Viettel post's bill of lading codes.

Through initial verification, Mr. Nguyen Van Linh, representative of Viettel Post Office in Dong Van district admitted that there were no invoices or documents related to the above goods. The above goods were sent from Lai Chau province to Pho Bang town, Dong Van district.

Market Management Team No. 9 temporarily detained all of the above goods to conduct verification steps, as a basis for handling according to the provisions of law.

Recently, on April 6, Market Management Team No. 3, Phu Yen Market Management Department coordinated with Team 3, PC03 Department - Phu Yen Provincial Police to stop and search the car driven by Mr. Bui Quang Ha (Nai Hiep village, Trieu Ai commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province), who was also the goods manager.

As a result of the vehicle inspection, the inspection team discovered that the vehicle was transporting 3,300 bottles of Heineken beer, 250ml, with foreign labels. At the time of inspection, the driver could not present any legal invoices or documents.

The authorities have temporarily detained all of the above goods to verify and handle them in accordance with the law.
