The "National Digital Data Year" postage stamp set is priced at 4,000 VND.

Designed by artist Le Khanh Vuong (Vietnam Post Corporation), this stamp set consists of one square stamp measuring 37 x 37 mm, priced at 4,000 VND, and will be available through the postal network from October 10, 2023 to June 30, 2025.

The stamp set was designed with the idea of focusing on the development of a digital-based database to ensure consistency. The artist used a dominant orange-yellow color scheme, signifying trust, credibility, and security. The numbers 0 and 1 (binary code) are combined with upward-pointing arrows, representing growth and development thanks to digital technology .

On the stamp design, the image of six moving curves surrounding a globe symbolizes the six continents of the world integrating and developing in the Fourth Industrial Revolution; the diagram connecting the word Vietnam with the digital transformation logo signifies Vietnam's steady progress on the path of digital transformation.

Vietnam is one of the first countries in the world to issue a national digital transformation strategy program, making Vietnam a country with a digital transformation awareness that is on par with advanced countries worldwide.

Since 2022, the Prime Minister has decided to designate October 10th as the National Digital Transformation Day, thereby raising awareness among the entire population about the importance and benefits of a comprehensive and holistic transformation of individuals and organizations in their lifestyles, work methods, and production processes based on digital technology.

In 2023, the Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Committee on Digital Transformation, designated it as the National Digital Data Year with the theme "Creating and exploiting digital data to create value," along with key tasks such as digitizing, building, connecting, and sharing data among ministries, sectors, and localities; protecting personal data; and exploiting and using data to better serve citizens and businesses.

This year's National Digital Transformation Day on October 10th has a theme linked to the National Digital Data Year: "Leveraging Digital Data to Create Value".

Activities organized on October 10th and throughout October aim to accelerate the implementation of national digital transformation tasks, effectively carrying out the National Digital Transformation Program until 2025, with a vision to 2030; contributing to raising public awareness of the role, significance, and benefits of digital transformation; promoting the participation of the entire political system, synchronized action at all levels, and the participation of the whole population to ensure the success of digital transformation.
