Launching National Tourism Year of Thanh Phu district 2025

Speaking at the welcoming and launching ceremony of the National Tourism Year 2025, Head of the District Department of Culture, Science and Information Nguyen Van Tuong said: Thanh Phu has many potentials and advantages in tourism development. Launching the National Tourism Year 2025 aims to strongly promote tourism development linkages between localities; unleash resources, exploit more effectively the potentials, strengths and distinct advantages of Thanh Phu to create a step of growth and comprehensive development of the district's tourism.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Tuong, in the coming time, localities in the district need to focus on promoting their image, connecting markets, attracting investment, and most importantly, enhancing the position of local tourism in the tourism value chain of the Mekong Delta region.

After the launching ceremony, delegates visited the community tourism model in Thoi Thanh commune, met directly with local people, and experienced typical living and production activities such as: miniature Western house models, wood carving, cockfighting, etc.
