The Department of Information Security (Ministry of Information and Communications) in collaboration with TikTok Vietnam launched the KOLs award with videos and viral content on online fraud prevention skills from October 22 to November 22.
Delegates at the KOLs Award Launch Ceremony have videos and viral content about online fraud prevention skills.
This campaign aims to call on users to participate in creating and implementing propaganda content, spreading the wave of pushing back fraud problems in the digital age.
Accordingly, the campaign encourages users to participate in creating and posting videos with the hashtags #luadaotructuyen #Congkgmqg #Vaccineso based on two main topics: Situations about common forms of online fraud and Skills to prevent online fraud.
Each video responding to the campaign must tag the official TikTok account of the National Cyberspace Portal (@congkgmqg).
The topics have been developed by the Information Security Department in the "Handbook on skills to identify and prevent online fraud" released on October 10, focusing on equipping the community with 5 main skills to respond to risks in cyberspace including: recognition skills, detection skills, handling skills, prevention skills and protection skills.
Skills to identify and prevent online fraud.
To launch the campaign, a themed video featuring Ambassador Le Bong was also posted on October 21.
By reenacting a common scam in recent times, Ambassador Le Bong also contributed to raising awareness and encouraging viewers to respond to the campaign.
The campaign is accompanied by content creators and cybersecurity experts like Hieu PC to update new cases and scams as well as effective tips and methods to recognize and prevent this problem.
Notably, TikTok also collaborated with the Vietnam Influencer Club to produce videos and livestreams on TikTok LIVE to provide useful information to help users proactively protect their digital experience and that of their families.
The content of the LIVE broadcasts will cover many different topics such as building skills to recognize fraudulent behaviors, building detection skills, handling skills, prevention skills and protection skills against increasingly sophisticated and dangerous forms and tricks of online fraud.
Mr. Tran Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Information Security (Ministry of Information and Communications), shared: “Online fraudsters are becoming more and more sophisticated in changing their methods, thoroughly taking advantage of new technology to attack, infiltrate, and commit large-scale fraud, causing economic damage.
In 2023, with the coordination of agencies, units, and online platforms, the campaign helped people identify 24 common forms of fraud in cyberspace.
Moving forward into 2024, we are focused on empowering everyone to protect themselves and their families from fraud. This is a long-term mission that requires the cooperation of all parties.
Therefore, we acknowledge TikTok's efforts over the years in always being ready to coordinate with agencies to implement initiatives such as #Luadaotructuyen to promote propaganda effectiveness, support the community to access necessary knowledge to help raise vigilance, and know how to respond to online fraud."

At the same time, TikTok will continue to strengthen cooperation with state agencies to carry out many meaningful community campaigns, raising public awareness about online fraud and cyber safety.
The #LuaDaoTrucTuyen campaign, a collaboration between the Department of Information Security (Ministry of Information and Communications) and TikTok, has gathered the participation of a large community of content creators along with many practical activities, affirming TikTok's long-term efforts in creating opportunities for users to proactively prevent and respond to issues related to online fraud, joining hands to promote a healthy and positive digital environment in Vietnam.
