Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) and VietTimes Magazine have just officially launched the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2025 voting program. This year's award has 5 categories, an increase of 1 category "Honoring individuals" compared to previous seasons.
This year's award categories include: outstanding digital transformation state agencies; outstanding digital transformation enterprises and public service units; outstanding digital technology products, services and solutions; digital transformation products and solutions for the community and honoring individuals.
The Organizing Committee will accept online applications from April 15 to June 30, 2025 on the program website. After that, the Preliminary Selection Council and the Final Selection Council will work to select the most deserving units and products to be honored at the Award Ceremony scheduled to be held in October 2025.
The Vietnam Digital Transformation Award has been held annually since 2018, sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology (formerly the Ministry of Information and Communications).
Speaking at the launch of the Award, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hong, Chairman of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association and Head of the Award Steering Committee, emphasized that in the context of streamlining the current apparatus, digital transformation has become an urgent requirement, stemming from the internal development needs of each organization, business and individual. This inevitable trend aims to increase work efficiency, improve operational efficiency, and build a working culture in the digital environment of agencies and businesses.
This year's Vietnam Digital Transformation Award is also a practical activity responding to the spirit of Resolution 57 dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
At the same time, it is also a meaningful activity in response to National Digital Transformation Day on October 10, contributing to raising awareness among people and the whole society about the role, meaning and benefits of digital transformation.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuc, Director of the National Digital Transformation Agency (Ministry of Science and Technology), this Award not only recognizes efforts in innovation and application of digital technology but also creates strong motivation for organizations and businesses to master technology and develop Make in Vietnam products to practically serve people and businesses.
Over the past 7 seasons, the Award has reached more than 21,000 domestic and foreign agencies, organizations and enterprises, attracting nearly 2,200 entries. Thereby, the Award has honored more than 400 outstanding state agencies, digital transformation enterprises and typical digital technology products and solutions.
