Parade with campaign messages on ironwood bridge

Attending the launching ceremony were leaders of Hue City People's Committee, Forestry Department, Miss H'Hen Nie and related departments.

With the message “Stop eating wild animal meat, contribute to the good life”, the launching ceremony was held on Nguyen Dinh Chieu walking street. The program is within the framework of the VFBC project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), aiming to increase the participation and support of local authorities, functional units and communities in wildlife conservation and biodiversity in Vietnam, thereby reducing and ending the consumption of wild animal meat and products from wild animals in nature.

The launching ceremony of the wildlife action campaign was held alongside the propaganda message to the people and the community about the role of wildlife conservation, also an action to contribute to raising the awareness of the whole society about nature conservation, condemning the illegal consumption, transportation, storage and use of wildlife products.

At the launching ceremony, Hue City leaders sent the message "Hue City - say no to wild animal meat" and called on the community to join hands to protect wild animals; representatives of the WWF-Vietnam Biodiversity Conservation Component brought the message "Humans come in pairs, wild animals come in pairs. Stop eating wild animal meat, contribute to the good of life"... along with many meaningful activities, such as interacting with people through minigames to learn about wild animals, folk dancing, parades...
